Lower School | Interdisciplinary Studies

The Montessori School of Raleigh's Lower School interdisciplinary curriculum is aligned with the most recent educational standards. Specifically trained in their content area, Early Childhood and Elementary interdisciplinary guides meet regularly with students to provide grade-level lessons in Spanish, art, theater, music, library and technology, physical education, and health and wellness. Following Montessori philosophy, students utilize by hands-on materials and activities and build important connections as their interdisciplinary work integrates with other academic areas. Students have opportunities to follow particular areas of interest and also master basic skills.
