Montessori Beginnings

The Montessori School of Raleigh (MSR) invites MSR and non-MSR families to join us for our Montessori Beginnings: Parent and Child program.

Offering a series of six classes, the program provides the opportunity for children ages 10-15 months to explore a prepared environment designed specifically to meet their developmental needs, while also providing parents guidance in practicing supportive, mindful observation and interaction.

Toddler with teacher 2019

The child-centered environment of the Montessori Beginnings class gives each child a wide range of social and physical experiences intended to stimulate their emerging independence and encourage their growth  as an attentive, active, and exploring individual.

Offered Saturday mornings during the fall and spring semesters, the Montessori Beginnings: Parent and Child program is team-taught by MSR’s expert, Montessori-trained Toddler lead teachers with each class typically running an hour and a half.

Montessori Beginnings is an invaluable way to learn more about Montessori practice and experience the outstanding !

Due to COVID-19, Montessori Beginnings will not be offered fall 2021. We hope to be able to offer the program again in spring 2022.
