Inclement Weather: Delays & Closings
The School will utilize email and text to notify families of any delays, early release, or closures related to inclement weather. Notifications will also be posted on the School's website and on WRAL.
MSR & Carolina Prep are not associated with Wake County or Durham County schools. MSR & Carolina Prep will notify you directly if there are changes to our schedule.
A team of School administrators are responsible for actively monitoring potential inclement weather events. The School will always send a communication to families if there are changes to the regular schedule. No communication means that monitoring is ongoing, but no changes have been made to the regular schedule.
We recognize that any changes to the regular schedule impacts our families directly. The School aims to inform the community of any changes to the regular schedule as soon as possible. For example: when possible, early morning scheduling changes will be communicated no later than the evening prior.
The School prioritizes the safety of our students, families, and employees when making any inclement weather decisions. Changes to the regular schedule are made with safety in mind, and we appreciate your partnership when decisions related to schedule changes are made.
