Community & Belonging
The Montessori School of Raleigh celebrates community and belonging, and the unique partnership our families, students, faculty, administrators, and board of trustees share.
Enhanced through our community members' various backgrounds and experiences, we believe that we are our best when we are open to learning from one another and when we emphasize the wellbeing of all members of our community. We recognize the importance of fostering an environment that not only values academic achievement but also prioritizes the emotional and physical health of our students. Furthermore, we are dedicated to preparing students to consider new perspectives, examine their own beliefs, and respond respectfully to the ideas of others through our Montessori and International Baccalaureate programming.
Guided by the tenets of peace education, central to Montessori and International Baccalaureate curricula, we aim to create a holistic and supportive community where each individual can contribute to and benefit from a comprehensive approach to education and the role they play in the world around them.
