School > Parents > Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteer OpportunitiesThe following MPSA events provide school-wide volunteer opportunities throughout the year: Classroom Room Parents coordinate volunteers to work directly in the classroom with teachers and students. Volunteers lead projects with the students, help produce play performances, make and laminate materials, tend classroom gardens, plan class picnics and socials, read to and listen to children read, chaperone field trips, bake goodies and organize a variety of other classroom projects. Through parent participation in school activities parents gain the knowledge and skills that enable them to help their children to learn at home. With many busy parents who have little or no time to spare, we strive to create opportunities to help parents get involved in whatever way they are able.
