Giving

Since 1974, MSR donors have given generously to make our school one of the best Montessori communities in the country.  Who are these people?  They are parents, now alumni parents.  They are grandparents, now alumni grandparents. They are you- the current parents and grandparents that will open their hearts and contribute their charitable dollars to make a difference—a world of difference—for the children and the future of MSR.

There are many ways to support MSR - investing your time in volunteering or investing contributions to the Annual Fund or Capital Campaigns. All levels of support are necessary to create the environment and possibilites our children deserve. As an example, the contributions to the 30th Anniversary campaign has made an incredible impact at the school:

The 30th Anniversary Comprehensive Campaign
How did the $1,250,000 raised in the 2004-2008 Comprehensive Campaign make a difference at MSR?

    School Campuses
  • Campus directional signage

  • Bike shed at MS
  • Roadside Entrance signs on the Lead Mine and Middle School Campuses
  • Renovation/Expansion of the Toddler playground
  • Additions to the Children’s House Playground

Of course the teaching methods of MSR’s Children’s House are well-constructed, well-designed, and effective in meeting the children’s developmental needs. These methods, materials, and pedagogy are well beyond those available in most other schools. —Children's House Parent
