How to Make a Difference

There are many ways to make a difference at the Montessori School of Raleigh. Your time, talents and gifts allow us to continue offering your children learning opportunities that ensure an academic, social and emotional environment for the whole child.

Getting involved takes many forms, including making donations to our Annual Fund or our 30th Anniversary Campaign, and volunteering your time and services for the benefit of the school.

Our Development Office is currently working with the Board of Trustees to oversee and implement our fundraising efforts for both the Annual Fund and 30th Anniversary Campaign. The Annual Fund allows us to fill the gap between the cost of the MSR education and the tuition paid. Every dollar given to the Annual Fund supports professional development for our staff, books and resource materials, Odyssey and Going Out experiences, fiancnial aid and quality art and music programs.
The 30th Anniversary Comprehensive Campaign will fund planned iniatives that will meet our stategic plan goals set for 2000-2005. Many of these objectives will enhance existing learning environments, create more outdoor opportunites for learning, sports and wellness.

For more information about these programs, please contact Rae Marie Czuhai, Director of Development and Alumni Affairs at (919) 848-1545 or rmc@msr.org.

Volunteering is another terrific way to get involved. The Montessori Parent Staff Association (MPSA) is made up of volunteer parents and faculty who sponsor special events aimed at “friend-raising” within the MSR community. For more information about volunteer opportunities sponsored by the MPSA, please go to the MPSA web page or contact Sandra Saundercook, Volunteer & Events Coordinator at (919) 848-1545 or ss@msr.org.
